The Veeam Universal License (VUL) becomes the standard
Veeam continues to sell the more user-friendly VUL license for cloud-based, virtual and physical workloads, and NAS data. After all, the backup specialist wants to provide its customers with an uncomplicated, flexible and reliable solution for modern data backup.
This is Veeam’s response to the strong response that followed the launch of the Veeam Universal License (VUL) in 2019 to support workloads in multi-cloud environments.
As a result, Veeam will stop selling perpetual socket-based licenses for all editions of Veeam Availability Suite, Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam Backup Essentials and Veeam ONE to new and existing customers – with the necessary eight-month lead time – on July 1, 2022.
