Starline is Archiware distributor in the DACH region

The partnership between Archiware and Starline is now complete: we are the official distributor in the German-speaking countries.

With a grandiose range of functions, successful operation and attractive pricing, Archiware’s powerful P5 data management suite quickly made it into Starline’s product range. Archiware, for its part, is equally convinced of Starline and has therefore entrusted the server forge as the only full-range supplier with the DACH distribution.

The product managers and technicians at Starline quickly realised that Archiware P5 is a jewel among professional data management solutions. Finally, the four flexibly combinable modules of the P5 data management suite make it possible to secure customers with a range of functions that is precisely balanced to their needs – from the archive with mini-MAM and media management, through incremental backups, to cloning for time-critical data, flexibly secured on tape, disk and/or cloud.

The software also rounds off the Starline portfolio of the manufacturers ATTO, FreeNAS, Infortrend, Overland-Tandberg and Qualstar with their complementary products in the NAS, Backup & Tape sector.

The buyer, however, benefits by only having to pay for what he actually uses. Each module is thus executable on its own and effectively fulfils its purpose. In addition, there are also bundles and expansion licenses, which – after a precise determination of requirements – make further differentiation possible.

Successful cooperation right from the start

Those who book the complete suite also benefit from the uniform look’n’feel of the program package: all installed modules are functionally united under one interface. On the tidy desktop, jobs can be created just as easily as changing configurations in no time at all.

And Starline – as a value-added distributor – naturally also ensures that the P5 modules run perfectly on ordered servers and NAS systems. They are therefore not only pre-installed, but also pre-adjusted to the corresponding target system. This means that orders that leave Starline production are productive right from the start.
