Through New Year’s Eve, Infortrend is giving customers the Scale Out feature for GS/GSe unified storage products and on all software features for the single-node models from the CS NAS line.
But that’s not all: There is also up to 25 percent discount on NVMe systems of the CS, DS, GS and GSe series.(see below)

Scale Out
Scale-out expansion refers to a horizontal expansion of the system by adding more independent nodes. Thus, not only the number of disks is increased as in the scale-up, but complete enclosures are added. This not only increases overall capacity, it also improves availability and increases overall performance.
For CS series NAS systems
Auto-Tiering
Store hot data on SSD and cold data on HDD with auto-tiering. This is because data tiering automatically assigns data to the types of drives used according to their access frequency. On the one hand, this increases the performance of the systems, and on the other hand, you can effectively minimize costs.
DNS-Load balancing
DNS load balancing is an important feature for cluster systems. After all, a cluster system contains multiple nodes for client access. This load balancing allows the DNS server to automatically balance the traffic between the cluster nodes and the clients. This greatly reduces the administrative burden on the IT administrator and also avoids performance bottlenecks and impaired system performance.
SSD Caching
SSD caching offers an intelligent solution, especially in hybrid systems, to drastically improve performance for read-intensive data. At the same time, it significantly reduces latency. We recommend caching especially for system applications that require intensive and repetitive reads with small volumes.
Data Lock (WORM)
Via Data Lock, users can set a pool in the CS cluster as a WORM (Write Once Read Many) domain. This overwrite protection makes the volume unchangeable afterwards. All data within this domain is thus secured and cannot be deleted accidentally or by unauthorized intervention.
