Areca has developed a perfect out-of-the-box solution for the MacBook Pro and Thunderbolt users respectively with their nifty bridges. With two 12 Gbit/s SAS and two Thunderbolt3 ports (40 Gbit/s), the ARC-4883T3 is an ideal solution for connecting a high-performance RAID controller to a JBOD enclosure.
This system allows large amounts of data in the form of video and audio streams - gladly in HD or 4K - to be read and written from a workstation, while other incoming and outgoing data transfers are processed via the daisy-chained Thunderbolt3 port.
