The QLogic 2670 series Gen5 Fibre Channel adapters have the unique ability to transform from a 16Gb Fibre Channel host bus adapter to a converged 10GbE network adapter. It then supports both NIC, FCoE and iSCSI traffic. Based on QLogic I/OFlex technology, the adapter's flexibility simplifies and reduces costs for customers who implement a Fibre Channel SAN today and want to migrate to an Ethernet SAN in the future. Support for powerful virtualization features also makes this adapter ideal for virtualized environments that require excellent I/O performance to serve the ever-growing number of virtual machines (VMs).
