The T24 tape libraries from the NEOs family offer enormous capacities through tape automation. With their 24 LTO slots, they already store hundreds of terabytes of data as a backup and archiving solution. Up to two LTO drives are built into the 2U changer, which receive their tapes under software control. They can be equipped with drives from the sixth generation (LTO-6) onwards as required. Fully loaded with LTO-8 cartridges, for example, a T24 reaches a native capacity of 288 terabytes.
