Maximum expansion – highest performance
With JBODs from Infortrend’s JB300 series, you can easily add massive storage to your network. This gives your servers room to grow. And this without taking up much actual space – thanks to the high packing density. Meanwhile, a 12 Gbps SAS lane connection speed provides the enterprise-class bandwidth and reliability.
Infortrend’s easy-to-use 19-inch enclosures also work with a wide range of host bus adapters (HBA) and RAID controllers from our product line. They therefore provide docked servers with a high data throughput via highly available and directly connected storage. With their well-manufactured drive bays, they offer true plug-and-play convenience: Up to two MiniSAS HD ports (SFF-8644) per controller are available for this purpose.
Infortrend has therefore developed the JBODs in different form factors and densities to provide fast and consistent access to large memory while keeping complexity low. However, the expansion housings, which are available in single or dual-controller configurations, meet two conditions: They meet tight budget requirements and provide a redundant access path to the drives.

JBODs from Infortrend with intelligent layout
High density JBODs with 60 drives
High density 4U enclosures in the JB300 top class with 60 slots are available in two different designs. In the simpler version (JB360L), the drives are therefore installed vertically in four rows of 15 data carriers each. They are accessible from above.
Infortrend’s more complex JBOD version (JB360) therefore accommodates 20 data carriers each in one of three drawers that can be pulled out to the front. For this reason they can be opened and closed easily with one hand. In these drawers, the drives are also vertical and can be easily exchanged.
JBODs with Infortrend quality
What they have in common are two redundant 80-PLUS power supply units with an output of 1600W and 1200W respectively. And this highly efficient power supply continues to save considerable costs. Finally, Infortrend’s JBOD network fans provide intelligent cooling based on the system load. This optimises heat dissipation, increases efficiency and reduces noise levels.
