Familiar reliability – guaranteed quality
Have servers configured as needed – Buy from experienced experts
Professional flexibility
Do you need a universal or specialized helper for your basic business tasks? Starline configures and sells servers according to customer requirements.
Servers must work – always. After all, they offer special services that are urgently needed in the network. Starting with email retrieval, through the provision of a web page, to the calculation of simulations in the scientific field – they always do important jobs.
Servers from our own product lines are therefore based on a flexible overall concept: open platform with high-performance hardware, fail-safe cooling concept and excellent expandability.
This is why we rely on industry-standard components from Supermicro for Starline’s own brand Zealbox, for example. Especially the rack servers, tower systems and workstations assembled on site in Kirchheim are configured according to customer requirements.
According to this Made-in-Germany strategy, customers have been buying tailor-made solutions from us in all areas for decades. This starts with hyper-convergent and software-defined solutions, continues with industrial IoT and ends with a solid storage appliance.
Buying from a professional: We configure your server
That is why we also have the right machines for special applications in our range. GPU servers from ASUS, for example, calculate as fast as famous super computers did just a few years ago. Catchword: GPGPU. They calculate over 100 teraflops (trillions of floating point operations per second) with their up to eight graphics cards.
We have also added the ARM-Line of Gigabyte to the Starline portfolio. These space and power saving models with up to 48 ARM CPU cores do their job wherever reliable continuous operation is required. Their natural habitat, however, is the datacenter.
Your advantages with Starline:
- Rack and tower systems
- Excellent price-performance ratio
- Virtualized solutions
- Customized concepts

Our GPU server line has one thing above all: a lot of computing power for highest compute workloads.
You need an application server? Our handcrafted application servers can handle any job.
When servers are in offices, they need to be quiet. Here are our silent servers for quiet working environments.
ARM servers offer high performance at low cost and low space and power requirements.
Infrastructure Servers meet the highest requirements as individually assembled systems for companies.
In the 2U GPU server ESC4000 G4 with Intel processors from the Xeon family, four double-deck GPU cards do the actual floating-point computing work. Its RAID mass storage with eight LFF SATA hard disk bays, the redundant power supplies and its 8+3 PCIe slots complete the coherent equipment list. The fast server offers terrific computing performance, enormous scalability and high energy efficiency.High-density computing is specifically designed to fit more computing power into one rack. The two-rack ESC4000 G4 easily does this by accommodating up to four GPUs for extremely high power density. The ESC4000 G4 supports up to eight PCIe Gen3 x16 slots. This results in high expandability and great compatibility with many expansion cards. Thus, the server works with a large number of GPU cards (NVIDIA Tesla, GridTM and AMD FirePro S series). In addition, there is also a PCIe Gen3 x 24 slot, which can also fit two low-profile HBAs or proprietary network cards with FDR and 10 GbE interface by means of a riser board.
The four height units occupying GPU server from ASUS works with two Intel Xeon processors and can be equipped with up to 3 terabytes of RAM. The eight front-accessible drive bays are unceremoniously docked to the SATA controller. Optionally, there is also a controller for fast SAS disks and SSDs. In addition, the ESC8000 G4 also offers two M.2 interfaces for SSDs (SATA 6 Gbit/s & PCIe Gen3 x4 link 22110/2280/2260), as well as two NVMe slots. (If the latter are used, the number of usable SATA drives is reduced from eight to six). Of its ten PCIe expansion slots, up to eight bays can be used for GPU cards. NVIDIA Tesla V100s are suitable for this, for example. Fully equipped, the fast computing machine achieves around 112 teraflops (Floating Point Operations Per Second) according to Single Precision calculations. For comparison: A server without GPU support calculates floating point operations about 200 times slower.

Ceph is a distributed open source SDS system that provides access to object, block and file storage. Ambedded's server lineup combines these capabilities in the specially developed Mars 400 appliance. The Ambedded developers have taken a new approach and have virtually emulated the Ceph architecture with hardware. In this way, they created servers that are optimally adapted to Ceph, while at the same time operating extremely economically with their ARM processors. Each CPU is assigned an SSD or HDD and thus forms an independent microserver. As many as eight of these micro servers operate in a 1U appliance from Ambedded. Thus, with this efficient technology, it is possible that an HA cluster with 21 hard disks, 24 SSDs and 24 processors on 3U requires less than 400 watts of power.
Zealbox Z50 form an open hardware platform that can be installed in different housing variants depending on the performance and interface requirements of the customer. However, the Z50 servers have one thing in common: a single- or dual-socket boards based on Intel. In combination with the up to four terabytes of RAM in the 16 memory banks of the Supermicro board, there are no more performance bottlenecks. They are therefore ideally suited for virtualization, databases and hosting, or even as high-availability storage. In the various housing variants from two to four height units, our Z50 servers offer space for 8 to 36 SFF and/or LFF drives. The basic model Zealbox Z50.11-08R2 has a 2U rackmount chassis with eight LFF drive bays. Additional interfaces, controllers or other options are added as needed. Moreover, we do our best to realize special requests.

With Starline you are not on the proverbial hook once you have bought something. Starline is an independent medium-sized company that produces servers and storage systems in Germany. Our suppliers - from cables to screws to SSDs - have to undergo internal benchmarking by our technicians and are only included in the programme when their performance is beyond doubt. We also rely on cross-manufacturer standards and not on isolated solutions. Moreover, all systems assembled by us are put through their paces before they leave our premises. And last but not least: We look after you whenever you wish - for example, by providing free advice before the purchase and free technical support afterwards.
As an independent company, Starline offers servers and storage systems "Made in Germany". All devices are put through their paces before they leave our premises. In addition, we offer free advice before the purchase and free technical support afterwards - even after the warranty has expired.
The answer is clear: both! We sell and install both ready-made components - where we always install new drives, install any firmware updates and customise them - and hand-assembled systems that are completely tailored to your needs. For the latter, we use our own brands NASdeluxe, RAIDdeluxe and Zealbox, for example. All of them consist of high-quality industrial-grade components, right down to the screws.
We offer a wide range of free and bookable services. You can find a detailed overview here.
